Telephone Communications Inc (TCI) has an opening for a Sales Administrative Assistant. TCI is the leading low-voltage general contractor and IT services firm in Eastern Alabama. TCI is located in Anniston, AL and services a 60 mile radius around the Greater Calhoun, Etowah, Talladega, and St. Clair Counties Area. The position of Sales Administrative Assistant is to be filled by a person who is honest, hard-working, team-oriented, and looking for employment longevity. Job Duties:

  • Communicate with customers to schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments for sales consultants.

  • Maintains, updates, and tracks sales opportunities in customer databases.

  • Updates sales and technical staff by gathering, consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding project information via online portal.

  • Supports sales consultants by tracking, investigating, and reporting sales information and resolving problems.

  • Resolves order problems by investigating data and history, identifying alternate means for filling orders, and notifying sales and technical staff of results via online portal.

  • Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request, selecting and forwarding appropriate information, and answering questions.

  • Assist sales consultants by making visits to customer premises to gather sales information, when necessary.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

  • Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or diploma in related field and/or equivalent experience.

  • 2 years experience in customer sales and/or service related environment.

  • Customer focused.

  • Dependable and pay attention to detail.

  • Data entry and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies.

  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and distribute information and develop appropriate recommendations on a timely basis.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team to solve problems concisely and efficiently.

  • Self-dependent and self-developmental.

  • Strong ability to communicate, verbally and written, with technical and non-technical individuals.

 

Job Compensation:
